| These two are a bonded pair and will regularly
groom each other. If one is upset with Mom for whatever reason he/she
will go to the other and tell on Mom (Mom can tell!). The two run
the Bunny 500 together in the hallway twice a day religiously. |
| Toki has no preservation instinct, she will jump from anything onto
anything and over anything. The second day after her spay surgery,
she jumped over the two foot fence of her "safety after surgery"
area. |
| Ther is no wire, fabric, or carpet too tough
for Toke (Mom has become an avid phone cord buyer at the local Dollar
Store, and a pro at furniture and molding refinishing). |
| "Explorabunny" Toki can get into any space.
There is no space too narrow. This comes in handy for helping Mom,
she can catch all the dust bunnies on her whiskers in all those hard
to reach places. |
| Toki has a VERY healthy appetite, she will
kill for her evening raisin and she loves Oxbow's Papaya tablests,
Timothy hay, and Oat hay as well as their pellets (she's a "brand
name" kind of gal). She also loves Romain lettuce, carrots, apples
and grapes. |
| Little Toki is the kiss-giver and is definitely a happy girl who
jumps in the air many times throughout the day. |
| Lagos is an HRS rescue bunny who
has scars from sore hocks, and a fractured toe that healed sideways.
He was very aggressive at first, charging and grunting when Mom tried
to touch him or pet him and biting many times. Since finding his forever
home with Mom in September 2005, his true charm has emerged and he
is the sweetest soul. He enjoys having the back of his ears rubbed
and playing "squishy face". |
| Still, Lagos is the "Serious Bunny", letting Mom know
what he wants by either giving Mom a powerful nudge or stomping to
let Mom know who the boss is. He is also a noisy bun, almost like
guinea pig (Mom loves that). |
| Lagos has much the same taste in food as Toki,
but is a gentleman and doesn't stuff his face. He will not move on
to the next Romaine leaf until he is done with his carrot, and will
not bite more than he can chew, unlike his roommate. He enjoys his
daily routine of eating some pellets out of Mom's hand. It is their
sacred "Just the two of us" moment. |
